Helen E. Miller

Helen E. Miller, 84, formerly of Penn Grant Road, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at Fairmount Homes. She was the wife of the late Glenn R. Miller, who died in 2005.

A seamstress, Helen worked for the former Zimmerman’s Garment Factory and later, she worked at the former Anderson Pretzel Bakery.

She was a member High View Church of God. An avid RV camper, she was a former member of the Red Rose Ramblers and Penn Coachman. She enjoyed jig saw puzzles and going to auctions.

Born in Manheim Township, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Anna (Boice) Feister. She is survived by four sons and their spouses, Dwight and Wendy Miller, Dennis and Jeanette Miller, all of Lancaster, Douglas and Sandy Miller of Paradise and Dwayne and Kim Miller of Ronks; two grandchildren, Tammy and Zac Miller and a brother, Warren married to Nancy Feister of Chambersburg.

There will be a viewing on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Highview Church of God. The funeral is 2:00 PM in the church with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery.

  1. My prayers to you all. Helen was at Farm Crest building & I enjoyed talking to her early in the morning. May you find peace in knowing she is in heaven.
